HyperPhysics
- This site has instructional resources for much more than just Physics. It presents the core material necessary for understanding diverse subjects, and the creators have put together a number of calculation sheets that make checking your understanding (and solving mathematical exercises) a breeze. Additionally, the site offers greater depth on many subjects which would be appropriate for the university level.
BrainPop!
- I've seen this site grow from its inception some years ago. It has some extremely well-made (and mostly accurate) videos with accompanying quizzes. Students tend to enjoy them. They are short, often humorous, and cover the basics while providing viewers with the chance to check their understanding. Definitely worth a perusal for any subject.
